about

After graduating in architecture, Arthur Leitner chose to focus on furniture and product design in order to explore the process of creation in more intimate depth and to be able to work more closely with makers themselves.

With this in mind, he went to Brasil where he spent 6 months working at Studio Campana, working hand in hand with their skilled craftsmen, an experience which confirmed his interest in fabrication process.

Returning to Paris he worked for two years on the development of the Louis Vuitton collection «Objets Nomades». This gave him the opportunity to closely observe some of the world’s most expert craftsmanship, aiming for the highest level of quality.

Today working as a freelance designer, he remains deeply interested in the fundamental link between designers and makers, both at the artisanal and the industrial scale.
